Storage Tanks

As a committed and qualified contractor, DIALOG Fitzroy conforms to API, ASME and all other relevant standards, codes and regulations, as well as to our own strict quality assurance and quality control policies and procedures. Our repair and maintenance expertise for above ground, welded steel tanks is fully comprehensive.

Seal Repairs: out-of-service seals repairs and replacements and in-service work in some circumstances
Fixed and Floating roof repairs and replacements: internal and external roofs, roof leg repair, pontoon
repair, section or entire replacement
Tank jacking: proven and safe tank jacking systems, retaining tank roundness and eliminating buckling
Tank Shell Repair: evaluation, shell plate replacement, buckling repairs, nozzle and doorway repair and replacement
Annular and bottom replacements: install patch plates, replace annular rings, remove and replace the tank bottom or install a secondary bottom
Repairs and renewals of access towers, roof platforms

Recertification

DIALOG Fitzroy provide unique end-to-end tank recertification services. Using well-defined and logical methodologies our process takes care of all the steps required for tank inspection and recertification, and to bring uncertified tanks back online.

All work is carried out according to client specifications as well as relevant AS/NZS/API standards and New Zealand and Australia regulations and standards

Surface Preparation & Coating

DIALOG Fitzroy provide internal and external protection of storage tanks, we are qualified in using a range of specialised coatings. The quality of our workmanship provides long-term protection against weathering, chemical attack, erosion and corrosion, and fire.

We are pioneers in adopting robotic blasting equipment with the use of the Vertidrive M3 Tank Robotic Crawler which provides super-efficient Ultra High Pressure Water Jet blasting, and M4 Robotic for garnet blasting – these innovations have improved surface preparation productivity and HSE risk significantly since their introduction to the industry.

New Builds

We provide turnkey design and construction of storage terminal facilities of all sizes, and have recent experience as EPC contractor of a multi-tank 105 million litre terminal expansion project. We offer a fully integrated design-build team ensuring affordable design solutions, streamlining the construction process by integrating design with the construction sequence; storage tank sizing, plot plans, civil engineering, piping design ISOs and fabrication drawings, I&E design, procurement and supply, detailed design, fire water network design, maintenance planning and all other services.
