Kerry joined DIALOG Fitzroy in 2024 as Managing Director, bringing over 27 years of experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas sector. An engineer by trade, his expertise includes onshore and offshore operations, deepwater exploration, sour gas processes, and floating LNG technologies. Kerry has experience across operations, maintenance, engineering, portfolio project management and major project delivery.

Kerry's career is marked by a focus on innovation, operational excellence, and capability development. He has successfully been involved in major projects around the world through significant challenges, including Hurricane Katrina and the COVID-19 pandemic. Kerry’s leadership is key to ensuring DIALOG Fitzroy's ongoing success and growth, with a strong emphasis on personal safety, value add, sustainable practices and corporate governance.

With over 15 years in CFO roles Hayden is a balanced and accomplished senior finance leader. Hayden is passionate about executing complex strategy and transformation across the business including the development of new business opportunities and organisation wide delivery of technology projects and programmes.

Hayden is hands on where required and delivers attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture. He is very outcome focused with a tool box of experience across finance, operations, commercial negotiation and business development.

With over 20 years’ experience in HR leadership roles, Kiri is a pragmatic people leader who is passionate about ensuring business and people strategies are aligned to deliver excellent outcomes for all.  Kiri has a proven track record of driving organisation and culture change across a variety of industries within New Zealand and internationally. 

She has deep experience in business transformation, talent management, leadership development and succession planning across a range of industries.  Kiri has a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Canterbury University.

Jeff is a solutions orientated senior manager with operational, production and construction/project management experience including oil and gas processing facilities, power stations (geothermal and gas-fired), HV transmission lines, resource recovery and recycling centres, manufacturing plants and, food and meat industry facilities.  

Jeff has been a senior manager with DIALOG Fitzroy since 2013 and now heads up the Australian business. Jeff is a qualified Electrical Tradesman with over 21 years experience on large industrial and petrochemical sites and is the QLD Electrical Contractors licence holder for our Australian business.

Rob is an experienced engineering manager with strong project delivery skills and a track record of completion of Conceptual Studies and FEEDs through to Detailed Design and Execution. 

His role has responsibility for the delivery of all engineering disciplines (Process, Civil, Structural, E&I and Mechanical) across the business. He has over 18 years’ experience in a range of leadership, management and technical roles. Rob holds and Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Computer Engineering) from the University of Canterbury.

Shane Coleman has been a member of our executive team for over twelve years. Prior to joining DIALOG Fitzroy Shane held senior management roles in operations and sales with ABB Ltd based in New Zealand and Australia, where he worked to deliver solutions for clients in a heavy engineering environment. Since joining DIALOG Fitzroy in 2010, he has held senior management positions for developing and growing the maintenance and service business for our energy sector clients.

Shane holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Finance from the University of Massey and a Post Graduate Business Diploma in Engineering and Finance from the University of Auckland.

Doug started with Dialog Fitzroy in 2014, he was initially engaged as the production manager to provide leadership and management expertise to all aspects of the fabrication process including planning, production, quality and HSE.  In 2020 Doug was made a member of the executive team where his knowledge in fabrication and resource management has been influential.

Doug has an extensive background in heavy fabrication, construction and management not only here in New Zealand but also for a period in Australia.

Ashlee joined DIALOG Fitzroy in 2024, bringing over 15 years of extensive experience in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Assurance (HSEQ) across high-risk industries, including mining, oil and gas, and chemical manufacturing in both New Zealand and internationally.

Passionate about aligning systems and processes to reduce administrative burden and support operational excellence, Ashlee is committed to ensuring that HSEQ frameworks are not just compliant, but practical, efficient, and integrated seamlessly into everyday operations. She is driven by the belief that strong, well-designed systems empower teams to focus on safety, quality, and productivity while minimising unnecessary complexities.

Barend has over 20 years of experience across the engineering, fabrication and construction industry, from hands-on site management into senior project leadership roles across South Africa and New Zealand. His background blends technical design expertise with field engineering, across diverse EPCm and EPC, facility shutdowns, and large industrial construction projects.

Barend brings not only deep technical skills and operational leadership, but also a strong understanding of governance, lean systems, and cross-functional collaboration to our executive team and clients. His passion for solving industry challenges and driving continuous improvement makes him a strong force behind successful, future-ready project outcomes.

Carey is a Taranaki local with over 25 years of global experience across North Africa, North America, Middle East, SE Asia within the energy sector. From oil, gas, LNG, gas storage and CO₂ sequestration through to electricity and solar procurement, he brings deep expertise across the full energy spectrum.

He brings strong technical and leadership background to DIALOG Fitzroy - including roles in general and senior management most recently in New Zealand within the Transport & Infrastructure industry - Carey is passionate about supporting his team, delivering results with a focus on innovation and efficiency and committed to making a meaningful impact for the business.

TAN SRI DR. NGAU BOON KEAT is the co-founder and major shareholder of DIALOG and has been with the Group since 1984. He was appointed to the DIALOG Board on 2 January 1990 and is currently the Executive Chairman of DIALOG. He is the Chairman of Pengerang Independent Terminals Sdn. Bhd., and the Founder and Trustee of MyKasih Foundation. He is also a Board member of Johor Petroleum Development Corporation Berhad since 2012, and a Trustee of the Yayasan Matlamat Pembangunan Mampan Malaysia (“Yayasan MySDG”) since 2021.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering and an Honorary Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia and the Institution of Engineers, Singapore. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.

He began his career in 1972 as a Refinery Engineer with Mobil Singapore Pte Ltd. He worked at PETRONAS from 1975 to 1980 where he held various positions from Production Engineer to Engineering Manager. He has more than 52 years of working experience in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

ZAINAB BINTI MOHD SALLEH is the Group Chief Financial Officer of DIALOG. She was appointed to the DIALOG Board on 15 May 2007.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy from University of New South Wales, Australia and is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

She joined DIALOG in 1995 as Accountant and was later promoted to Group Chief Financial Officer. She has over 36 years of working experience in auditing and financial management. She was formerly with Price Waterhouse (now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers) and other companies responsible for financial and cost management accounting.

NGAU WU WEI has served as Director of Corporate Strategy at DIALOG since November 2018. Prior to joining DIALOG, he was a Manager at KPMG Consulting/BearingPoint Inc. in New York, where he worked as a management and technology consultant, primarily for Financial Services clients. Since joining DIALOG in 2007, Wu Wei has held multiple senior management roles in operations, corporate planning, digital and technology, project and business development, and joint venture management. In April 2021, he was appointed Managing Director of DIALOG Systems (Asia) Pte Ltd (“DSAPL”), where he oversees the group’s international business operations. Wu Wei holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Finance from the University of Canterbury, a Bachelor of Science in Information and Decision Systems from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Master in Business Administration (“MBA”) from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he was a Sloan Fellow.

BRYAN TAN as appointed Managing Director of Engineering, Construction & Maintenance and Executive Director of Saudi Business Operations in February 2023. He is also the Executive Director of Group Business Development. He joined DIALOG in 2007 as an Electrical and Instrumentation Manager. Previous appointments include Executive Director of Specialist Products & Services, Acting Head of Group Engineering and Construction (“E&C”) Services, Deputy Director Major Projects, Deputy Design Engineering Manager and Deputy Head of Engineering and Construction. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Engineering and Computing from Monash University, Australia. He has 27 years of working experience in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

RICHARD ELLIS was appointed Executive Deputy Chairman of DIALOG Fitzroy Limited (“DFL”) Group of Companies and Deputy Chairman of DIALOG Property New Zealand in September 2023. Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of DFL since April 2011 through the acquisition of DFL. He holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Engineering and Automation. He has over 30 years of working experience, 11 years of which were in the automated technology industry assisting the company to establish itself as an international leader in the field. He has extensive experience in project management, contract negotiation and global markets.

KERRY WILLIAMSON joined DIALOG in July 2024 as the Managing Director of DFL Group of Companies. With an honours degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Auckland, he comes to DFL with over 27 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Upstream business working with Shell and OMV, and has lived and worked across the USA, Netherlands, UK, Malaysia and New Zealand. He has held roles in engineering, operations, business planning, major projects, and executive leadership. Prior to his career in upstream, Kerry worked with BHP Research in Australia, specialising in steel production research and operations.

ANDREW COPLAND is the General Manager of DIALOG Services in Australia. He joined DIALOG in 1995. He holds extensive inspection qualifications, a Certificate of Quality Assurance from New Zealand and is a Lead Quality Systems Auditor. He has over 38 years of worldwide working experience in numerous roles in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry including involvement in major projects both offshore and onshore in New Zealand, UK, Australia, Japan, Korea and Malaysia. Originally joining DIALOG in a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (“QA/QC”) management role, his various assignments within DIALOG have also included Procurement Manager, Proposal Manager and Acting Head of Contracts.

ROBERT WILES was appointed as an Independent Director of DIALOG Fitzroy Limited in August 2021. Rob holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Management & Finance.  He has a decade of experience in oil & gas having worked for Schlumberger, Contact Energy and Z Energy. In addition, he also has two decades of senior executive experience in banking, corporate finance and strategy having worked for Infratil, BNZ and NAB. Rob brings a comprehensive and diverse range of skills and experience to DIALOG Fitzroy.

SUE NGAU was appointed as Executive Director, Corporate Services in June 2022. She joined DIALOG in October 2007. Sue holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Information Management and Systems from Monash University in Australia. She is an Associate Member of Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) Australia and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. With more than 22 years of working experience, prior to joining DIALOG, Sue was working with KPMG Malaysia involving work related to audit and corporate finance.
